Our Standard Detail
1 - Assess and prepare:we will perform paint depth meter readings to evaluate the
paint depth and condition to see which products will be required, and decide if it
will require a full machine polish to remove minor scratches, swirl marks and holograms.
2 - Pre-spray engine compartment,wheel arches, door shuts and lower half of the vehicle
with a citrus de greaser, which will attack all road films and oil deposits on the
engine.Then rinse off .
3 - Pre-spray wheels using a non-acidic cleaner to attack brake dust build up and
road film;then use a soft wheel brush to loosen any stubborn marks.(Wheel Removal
also available if required but optional, and at extra cost)
4 - Wash exterior paintwork with a Ph neutral wash solution using a lambs mitt,
and rinse off Cabriolet hood cleaning also available using a natural fabric cleaner
then rinse off; then clay bar entire vehicle (paintwork and glass)
5 - Dry off the whole of the vehicle using a miracle drier.
6 - Clean head lining ,vinyl and plastic surfaces .
7 - Clean interior carpets and upholstery using a wet extraction machine, including
boot and bonnet interiors.
8 - Clean all leather surfaces with a ph neutral cleaner , apply leather conditioner
(shiny or matt finish optional)
9 - Cleaner fluid door shuts to remove any scratches or any tar deposits then apply
wax.
10-- Dress engine to shine and seal from damp. Dress wheel arches to give a natural
finish.
11- Restore exterior paintwork: Firstly using clay bar to remove any contaminants
that stick to the paint surface ,leaving a ultra smooth finish.Then either apply
cleaner fluid by hand depending on condition of paintwork, or machine polish using
a pro- cleaner fluid using a lambs wool mop.
12 - Apply final wax containing a high percentage of carnauba wax to achieve that
ultimate shine and protection.
13 - Restore wheels:Using clay bar to remove any contaminants and leave a smooth
finish. Apply cleaner fluid to clean and restore to better than original finish.
Finally apply a wheel wax containing teflon to stop brake dust build up and and also
give it that ultra deep finish.
14 - Dress tyres, mudflaps and mats to give a natural looking finish.
15 - Dress exterior vinyl and rubber trims to give a natural black finish.
16 - Polish windows and mirrors.
17 - All chrome and Aluminium surfaces polished.
18 - Clean and Polish Exhaust tips where applicable
19 - Quality check
Approx time 1-3 days depending on size and condition of vehicle.
